Here are couple of rendition of the Ernest G. Welch logo. The look I wanted to go for was something easy to look at and bold... something that can look great on websites and collateral as well as functionality .  I tried using various weights to give it a distinct look.  

Also, I tried to represent all the disciplines of art that are offered (9 offered) at the Welch School of Art and Design with the 9 sided polygon.

I hope to get some more done.

4350 Self AD Project 1 Draft

This is a draft of one of the poster in 4350.  I really like where this is going, really had fun making this one.  I may go back and tweak some things before I turn it in.

Also I'm still unsure if "imagination" takes away from the guy or is a good compliment or not.

These are my backgrounds for my tool kit #1.  One with stars in the background and the other without.

 The lines in the back represent how time and space curve because of the black hole.  Still thinking if I should include the stars or not or maybe both.

You can't take things with you when you die was one way of representing death and I used these abstract isometric shapes as the "things" that we can't take with us to the other side.  These objects can represent different things for different people.
