WIP Wine Bottle pt2

REVISIONS

Here are couple of revisions after getting some feedback from my classmates!

                                                                                                                                                       

So I'm working on the placement of everything, and I got it down to these two.  One is with the Logo on top and the other is with the Name on top, obviously.  I need feedback to see which one looks better and how the hierarchy is with the type placement.

Also, I'm wondering if it looks too empty and if it will be better to add anything else as far as flourish or ornaments or anything that yall can think of that will make it look foine!

Weekly Check In

These are my top sites that I visit on a weekly basis.  There are the givens which are all the blogs for the GRD classes and my classmates blogs.  I try always try to be on the lookout for anything good looking outside of the computer screen as well.

Wine Bottle WIP

Hmm so I am working on the "nameplate" which one looks the best? ahhh I'm going for beautiful, royal, and elegant...if nothing above describes those adjs let me know how I can achieve that.

Wine Bottle Mock Up

Here is a quick mock up of my wine bottle so far.  There are still some things and information I have not put on the bottle yet but it will come soon.  The bottle will not be glossy but a satin black.

Inspirations from MAGs to PRT

I've been reading/looking at different material for different classes.  I have been reading the COMMART MAG, Type Essentials, and the Elements of Typographic Styles.

Wine Bottle Inspirations

Here are some very interesting wine bottle designs.  These bottles have things that I want to incorporate into my design.  For my wine bottle redesign, I am leaning towards a matte black wine bottle with some gold leaf in my design.  I will also add a lion with some patterns that kinda express royalty...something like that.  I want to make the name Hess and the Lion gold and embossed.  Now question is how..

My room is where I do most of my designing, on my wooden desk at the corner.

I tend to work better when I'm in a clean environment.

Always have my guitar ready when I need to take a break from the projects.

The next place would be the library and anywhere with free wifi and a clean and open space.
